The University of Colorado Law School was established in 1892. The first students of color entered in 1898. The law school became a charter member of the Association of American Law Schools, organized in 1901. The first woman graduated in 1908. And, the school has been on the American Bar Association's list of approved law schools since its first publication in 1923.

The Colorado Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Symposium to be held on March 19 & 20, 2013, will draw together students, faculty and researchers; Coloradan non-profits; and internationally prominent development practitioners engaged in the WASH agenda. The two day Symposium provides a platform for enlightening, encouraging and challenging discussions about global WASH issues and solutions.

Breakin Club aims to educate students about the positive culture of hip-hop through the art of breakin (break dancing). We hold unofficial club practices to teach and train the dance. The Breakin' Club promotes a healthy, fun form of exercise as well as an appreciation of the artistic culture of hip-hop. The Breakin' Club at CU gets students involved in physical activity as well as cultural awareness.

Established in 1941, the International Film Series is Boulder's first art-house film series. The IFS screens over 100 films a year and draws over 20,000 people annually.
Films are shown in Muenzinger Auditorium on the C.U. Boulder campus west of Folsom Field.

Naropa University was founded in Boulder, Colorado, in 1974 as the Naropa Institute by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, a lineage holder of both the Kagyü and Nyingma Buddhist traditions. Established to unite the great ideas and pedagogies of the East and West, the Naropa Institute attracted some of the country's most forward-thinking artists and scholars to teach, people such as Allen Ginsberg, Ken Wilbur, Anne Waldman, John Cage, Meredith Monk, and many others.

The Program in Jewish Studies, an interdisciplinary unit of the College of Arts & Sciences, offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jewish Studies as well as minors in Jewish Studies and Hebrew Studies. The primary goal of the program is to explore Jewish culture, history, society and thought while equipping students with a fluency in a number of the disciplines offered through the College of Arts & Sciences.
